The ELM 04 SD ATEX lamp is an Ex cap lamp for mines with potentially explosive working atmospheres in group 1, above all coal mines. Compared with the ELM 01 SD, it uses two high-power LEDs with different beam angles. Miners get one concentrated beam for distance and a wider one for the work area.

Applications and installation

Wear the ELM 04 SD ATEX lamp with the battery fixed to the belt and the headlamp on the helmet, the two linked by cable. It works with the individual headlamp charger and with the 10, 50 or 100-station racks, so you can scale a lamp room to your crew size. As an option, it takes a location transmitter and becomes the ELM 04 PSD version. Keep the lamp within its rated -5 degrees C to +40 degrees C window. Design and production take place in Europe.
