The ELM 04 PSD ATEX lamp combines the two-LED ELM 04 SD mining lamp with a location transmitter cast in resin inside the battery cover. It is intended for coal mines and other workings with a potentially explosive atmosphere, where rescue teams must fix the position of miners through rock or coal.

Applications and installation

Wear the ELM 04 PSD ATEX lamp as an individual cap lamp in potentially explosive atmospheres, with the battery on the belt. Charging runs through the headlamp, either in the 10, 50 or 100-station racks or with the individual headlamp charger. The transmitter is an option fitted to order, so specify it when you size your lamp fleet. Assign channels to crews before the shift, so the receiving team can tell sectors apart during a search. The lamp is designed and manufactured in Europe.
