This Inset FATO recessed LED light marks the final approach and take-off area of a heliport from deck level, with no raised body at all. It suits helidecks with ground traffic, rooftop platforms and any area where helicopter skids must not meet an obstruction. The unit draws 9 W and holds up from -55 degrees C to +55 degrees C.

Applications and installation

You use the FATO inset unit both as a FATO light and as an aiming point light. Powered at 48 V DC from the heliport controller, it gives you three dimming steps. Powered at 90-230 V, it runs at fixed intensity. Recess the body into the deck with the lens flush; the anti-condensation valve clears the glass when temperatures swing.
