This heliport LED floodlight lights the landing surface so the pilot reads the markings and the texture of the deck, not only the perimeter lights. It suits hospital helipads, rooftop platforms and emergency landing points worked at night. At 20 W and an efficacy of 120 lm/W, it supports the minimum 10 cd/m2 luminance required on the deck.

Applications and installation

The floodlight completes a heliport lighting scheme built from TLOF, FATO, Aiming and Approach lights and the Beacon. Mount it at the edge of the platform, aimed across the landing surface, at a height that respects the 130 mm limit. The 230 V AC supply lets you connect it to the existing building distribution board. The IP65 enclosure keeps blown dust and rain out of the optical chamber. Designed and manufactured in Europe.
