The Quasar Type A obstruction light is a daytime beacon for aviation obstacles taller than 45 m. It serves operators of wind turbines, industrial chimneys, masts and very tall buildings. Flashing white light of 20000 cd stays visible to pilots in full daylight, where red night beacons simply disappear.

For night marking, combine it with a red Type B or Type C beacon, or select the combined A/C version that carries both regimes.
