The Astro II LED floodlight at 50W uses a single Bridgelux COB LED and serves canopies with a small number of pumps. Operators choose it when they want even light over each pump from a recessed, sealed body that stays serviceable for years. It mounts on a 520 x 355 mm metal plate.

Applications and installation

The application is fuel station lighting. The floodlights are fixed to a metal plate that is recessed into the canopy soffit, giving a flush finish above the pump islands. The F-Mark permits mounting directly on normally flammable surfaces. With IP66 sealing, dust and washing water stay outside the optics, which suits open forecourts exposed to sand and humidity. Set the light colour at order stage, since it is factory configured. The luminaire is designed and produced in Europe.

How many floodlights does one pump need? It depends on canopy height and the illuminance you are targeting. For twin pumps the series also offers the 2 COB LED version at 100W.

Why is neutral white recommended? Neutral white 4000 K has a colour rendering index of 80, against 70 for cool white, which helps with reading displays and judging colours.

Can it be cleaned with pressurised water? IP66 protects the optical compartment against powerful water jets and against dust.
