TLOF Heliport LED Light 5W Green
The TLOF heliport LED light outlines the touchdown and lift-off area of a helipad in green. It suits hospital pads, office towers with a rooftop platform and industrial landing areas. From only 5 W and two OSRAM LEDs, the fitting produces the intensity above 30 cd required for the TLOF perimeter.
Benefits
- The right colour: green within the CIE Chromaticity Boundary, as ICAO Annex 14 V2 requires for TLOF.
- Minimal load: 5 W per light, so a full perimeter barely loads the control panel.
- Three-step control: 10%, 30% and 100% from the control panel.
- Works without a panel: an optional 90-230 V 50/60 Hz supply runs the light at fixed intensity.
- Anodised aluminium housing: electrostatically painted RAL 1004 with a UV-protected diffuser.
- High protection: IP66 and IK10 for exposed mounting on the deck, including dusty and humid coastal sites.

Applications and installation
Fit the TLOF light around the touchdown and lift-off perimeter, inside the FATO boundary. It belongs to the heliport lighting system and shares a control panel with the FATO, Aiming and Approach lights. Dimming depends on the panel supply; at 90-230 V the intensity stays fixed. The IP66 body handles blown sand and wash-down water on exposed decks. Designed and manufactured in Europe.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the TLOF heliport LED light green? Green marks the touchdown area, following the heliport colour requirements of ICAO Annex 14 V2 and the CIE limits.
How many LEDs does the body carry? Two OSRAM LEDs, at a total of 5 W and a luminous intensity above 30 cd.
Will it cope on an exposed rooftop? Yes. The rated range runs from -40 degrees C to +50 degrees C and the housing is IP66.
